I am British and moved to the USA in 2014.
This is when I started running, age 11, with Parks and Recs, and made it to JO Nationals.
With my coach’s advice, I moved to a club - Speed Unlimited in Bellevue, WA, where I truly met kindred spirits who inspired me both in the love of running and strong friendship bonds. I now live in California but the running friends I met there are still some of my most favorite people and probably life long friends!
I am privileged to run with some truly elite athletes both as friends and competition in CA. I believe we inspire ourselves to be our best, at all levels. To work hard at all we do as athletes and students knowing that our long term goal achieves success in our school work, our friendships, support of each other and our running.
I have been fortunate to have always competed at varsity for both track and xc. Health issues and injury along the way which have impacted heavily on my xc seasons and key track races have really made me focus on staying healthy and on course during my junior year. I believe that the experiences have made me strong too as well as give me the opportunity to support my team at all competing levels in a much broader sense.
I have had a great Junior XC season and feel positive going into track. I hope that I can lead this team to achieve the best they have to give. That we, as a team can build strength as athletes and in academics and as a group of friends who want to enjoy this sport together.
