I started pole vaulting my junior year of high school, I have done track (mid-distance and long distance) since my freshman year, as well as 2 years of varsity cross country. When I started pole vault, I'm not going to lie it was a struggle. My first meet I got NH, I felt defeated. But, after 4 months of perseverance and the help and support of my teammates and coaches I developed a love for pole vault and an official PR of 8'6". I have been training hard over the summer/pre-season with Ultimate Pole Vault Club and I look forward to progressing and reaching new heights this upcoming senior season!
