Personal Statement

I’m Sofia Martinez, to me hurdles are more than just jumping over a metal bar, it fills my heart with passion. From the moment I had my first tack meet I got first place it was a serial feeling that I wanted to recreate. At the time I was juggling between soccer and track but the adrenaline that track filled me with made my decision clear. I want to be the best hurdler i possibly can. I also like to challenge myself off of the track with academics. With my 4.0 GPA I am open to a journey and any possible outcomes that may occur.
