Jasmine Harris '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jasmine Harris and I am a senior at Truckee High School in Truckee, CA. Track has always been a huge passion of mine and has a significant impact on my goals today and for the future. Lately, I have been working towards my goal of running the 400m and the 200m collegiately. Reaching that goal doesn't only mean competing for a college-level team, but also contributing to a championship and other similar titles. When it comes to academics I enjoy challenging myself in high-level thinking classes, always striving for an A. Although school and track are the leading parts of my life, I focus my life around the integrity that I hold. I have noticed that doing the right thing when no one is watching has become less apparent in my class and generation however, I find myself to be the exact opposite. Whether it is admitting when I am in the wrong to as far as keeping a sober life even when under peer pressure, I always make the decision that is going to affect my physical and mental health positively, keeping the path to my goals clear.
