Personal Statement
I run Cross Country and Track for Boulder High school. I started running when I was 6 and fell in love with the sport. I joined the Boulder high team during COVID and it was one of the only times I got to see people during lock down. I have progressed dramatically since then, my freshman year PR in cross country was 21:32 and then sophomore year I ran 19:40 at sea level followed by 18:49 this past season at altitude, on a course that is not where most of my team has their PRs. I run have run the BolderBoulder each year and it is one of my favorite events. I really enjoy running further distances that are not offered in high school. I see myself as a strong 5k 3200 and 10k runner, although I am open to other events. I love running and I see myself continuing to improve for many years to come.
