2023 Highlights #2Personal Statement
I've been running track since I was 10 years old. I have grown a very strong passion for this sport and ever since I've stepped on the track I knew I wanted to run at the collegiate level. I consider myself a very fierce competitor and I love a good challenge.
My specialty in track is hurdles both the 100m and 300m. I pick up on new fundamentals really fast and I am a very coach-able athlete. I am hard-working and conscientious and a good learner, always paying close attention to instructions and performing tasks as well as I possibly can. I try to set examples for the rest of my peers, on and off the field.
Not only do I work hard on the track but I work even harder in the classroom. I've maintained a good GPA all the way through high school and continue to do so. I never fall behind in school and always make sure my grades are where they should be. I want to be seen for my accomplishments on the track and in the classroom. I am reliable and believe that I would be an asset in any team.
