Hello! My name is Arianna Hicks, I am a junior at Windsor Charter Academy Early College and High School, as well as a pole vaulter for Windsor High School and Above the Bar Track Club.
Although I only recently discovered pole vault, it has quickly become my passion. In the short year I’ve been vaulting I achieved a height of 10’2” and competed in the Colorado State Championship, showing my determination and potential in the sport. I’m egar to compete for years to come, and to find the right school and coaches to help guide and support me as collegiate athlete.
Athletics aside, I have strived to achieve academic excellence, maintaining a GPA of 4.23. To continue to challenge myself, I am taking many honors and college courses, hold a chair position in the National Honor Society, and am concurrently pursuing an Associate of Science degree. These things have provided me with an understanding and readiness for the rigor of college-level coursework and given me the ability to balance it with many extracurriculars.
I know there is so much more for me to learn - I am so excited for what the future holds! Thank you for taking time to view my profile and read my personal statement!
