I am Clara Romero, a senior at Mercy High School in Middletown, CT. I run for Mercy High School's Cross Country and Track Teams. I have a 4.4555 GPA and am highly interested in majoring in nursing and pursuing a nursing career. As a potential collegiate cross-country and track runner, I want to become a better competitive runner. I am coachable and want to find a coach and team that I can work well with and grow as a runner and an individual in my character. On any team, I strive to be a person who shows support, commitment, encouragement, engagement, and hard work, all of which are values that are very important to me as a student-athlete. I strive to excel in the classroom and on any cross-country course or track. I know I have a lot to improve, but I am setting goals for myself with the notion that I will not limit myself in any way. Anything is possible with hard work, and as an athlete and student, I have learned to have self-discipline, which has led me to productive time management and essential skills to make positive differences in my life and the lives of those around me.
