my main goal Is to hopefully get a scholarship for track and field and compete. I want to set goals for myself and reach every single one of them. I want to become that person everyone admires and looks up to on and off the track. ive been running since i was young but just for fun i didnt really get serious into track until my freshman year of high school. i work hard through the whole year, no days off. if im not on the track you will surely catch me in the gym.
What makes me a good candidate for any school is that I'm willing to put the work in. I know that nothing in life will be easy and if it is easy then the outcome won't be great. I'm willing to work hard and do what I have to do for my team and for myself. I am a very good and supporting teammate and actually I'm head captain for the girls sprinters so I am a very good leader as well. i am very coachable, i take what my coach says very seriously.
What makes me different then the million other recruits is that I know how it is to fail, I know how it is to just want to give up. I've been through so many hurdles during these 4 years of track but just like the hurdler I am I learned to get over them. i hate losing, its nothing like the feeling knowing you could have won but didnt. every time i lose i make a mental note of the person who beats me and i make sure next time i race them that i beat them. you always have to come back stronger. I am a very bright student and education always comes first to me. My grades are always important. Being a student athlete having your priorities straight is one of the most important things ever and I can totally say that I have mine all straight. Having me on your team will be such benefit, I am a hard worker, a great athlete and a very motivational teammate. I never look at my team as a "team" they're my family.
