I appreciate you viewing my page, here is what I think would make me a great addition to your team. The success I have achieved in pole vaulting is largely self-generated. I have a great coach, but he is only one person that coaches many kids. As a result I have had to learn to pole vault with minimal coaching. I think this presents both of us with a unique opportunity. I know that with collegiate level coaching, I believe I can set and reach higher level goals, and really excel in your program. I don't think I have even scratched the surface of my potential, I am very coach-able and really look forward to that opportunity. As one can see on my college application, I have been very active in serving my community, interning with children with special needs, am an active member of The National Honors Society, and much more. I think I have a high level of character that will be a great addition to your team. I think I am also unique in that I didn't just pole vault throughout my high school athletic career. I played soccer for 4 years of high school and was captain my senior year. I am a multi-disciplined track athlete and in the Outdoor Track Season 2019, placed 1st in the Connecticut Class S State Championships for the 100m hurdles. Academically, I have yet to pin down exactly what I want to study but I am excited for the wide variety there is for me to explore. I am selecting schools that will allow me to explore beyond my boundaries and challenge myself. Overall, I think I would be a great addition to your team.
