Personal Statement
As an Ethiopian, I was made for distance running. I have even traveled to Ethiopia this summer and trained with the best semi-professional athletes, and I learned so much! I love running and being a part of a team. I've been training for six years on a 3x state champion team and have been on varsity since 6th grade. I like to be pushed and challenged. As a daughter of a Pastor, I'm active in my church and volunteer in the children's ministry.
