As a dedicated athlete, I strive to be the best individual, student, and runner that I can be while still prioritizing my training so that I can excel in everything that I do. I started track at the young age of 10 years old and immediately fell in love with the sport. Track is important to me because it pushes me to step outside of my comfort zone and into the real world, where I can concentrate on achieving my goals and overcoming every challenge that stands in my way. My proudest accomplishments during my past three years as a high-school athlete have been being named first-team all-conference as well as conference champs for three years in a row. During my freshman, sophomore, and junior years, I've also had the incredible opportunity to participate at state in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays and place highly. After graduating from high school I plan on earning my master's degree in psychology and aspire to one day open my own private practice. I'm prepared to take on whatever obstacles are thrown at me while continuing to maintain my GPA and integrity to run. I am a highly capable recruit for any team willing to give me the opportunity.
