Lindsay Bobowski '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lindsay Bobowski, and I am a current sophomore at Elk Grove High School. Growing up, I was the youngest of three. After being dragged around to my brothers’ events all the time, I started to develop my love for sports. Between travel baseball, feeder basketball, and indoor and outdoor travel soccer, I loved the complexity and competitiveness in each sport. One of my favorite aspects throughout them all was running. So when high school finally rolled around, I jumped at the opportunity to join the track team. Although it was so different from every other sport I’ve played, I’m so glad I took a chance. Track helped me leave my comfort zone and become a better person. Since I joined the season late, I had to push myself to catch up on everything missed and learn to ask for help when I didn’t understand. As an introvert, track helped me gain confidence as to meeting new people and opening myself up to new things. Through the many different events, I loved being able to compete as a team during a relay, as well as an individual. During my first season, I made the varsity team and helped my school break past records. I’m so excited to return to track this year and push myself to new limits to not only become a better athlete but a better teammate.
