Throughout my whole running career, one thing has been implanted in my mind; you get what you give. There are no excuses that train your mind to be better, you must do the action to become better. There will be bumps and potholes along the road, you may run out of gas, get into a wreck, or even drive down roads you have never heard of, but it is the experience and work we put forth. Took a wrong turn? Either turn around and lose your spot, or go forward and learn the route yourself. Popped a tire? Well, did you learn how to change a tire before you went behind the wheel? If not, have fun being stranded. At the end of the day, you decide your fate. You determine your path.
