I am 5'3.5" and am 115 pounds. Freshman year, in both track and cross country, I recieved all-city honors. This honor is given to the top ten finishers in the city cross country meet (I placed sixth), and to the top three in track (I finished third in the mile). I also recived it sophomore year of cross country finishing eighth, and in track I was on an all-city 3200 meter relay. Junior year I placed tenth and again achieved all-city honors. In track I again qualified for the 3200 meter run in the Hoosier State Relays, and was a part of an All-City 4x400 team. I love to run, it is not a chore for me. I have been the MVP of the cross country team all three years in high school. I work very hard at my running; I do what my coach asks of me and more. I do not have any specific ideas for colleges yet, but I want to attend a smaller Christian university where running would be a legitimate option. I would love to run at any level, but my goal is to actually run on the team, not just to watch at a Division One School. At this point in time, I want to major in Education, and going into my senior year, I need to start making decisions. I really want to run in college be it DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, or anything else, I just want to run.
