My name is Makenna Schnick. I'm 5'8" and 135 pounds. I am dedicated and hard-working as an athlete while also being able to maintain straight A's in academics. I did gymnastics for the first 11 years of my life. I was then introduced to cross-country in 6th grade. From then on, I have done both cross-country and track excelling in both. At the end of my 8th grade track year after setting our middle school 800 meter record I went to the doctor and found out that I had iron deficiency with an iron level of 4. Since then I have gotten my health back on track and I'm ready to pursue the rest of my running career. I have worked very hard in staying in shape and focusing on my goals. In my high school years we have achieved being the first Morgan Township Girls team to win both our track and cross-country sectionals ever. With my long legs I am looking towards setting more school records and personal records this year and the years ahead of me.
