Rayssa Oliveira '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Rayssa, I´m 17 and I have been competing since I was 8. I was born in Brazil and have been living here since then. I have achieved important titles in my state (Rio Grande do Sul) and in my country. I study in a billingual school that really appreciate and value sports, it also includes social projects to our resumes.  My main event is long jump, but I also have been working on hurdles and had really good results in sprints such as 100m and 200m.  I love track and I won't stop working on it until I pass my limits. Since when I first started competing I learned a lot, not just about competitive things but I learned about me and my mind. I want to be recruited because I think US can offer a better structure for training and competing, also it will be a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try new experiences.
