Talahn Paki '25 Recruiting Profile

Hey, I'm Talahn and I am a 17-year-old track and field athlete from Sydney Australia. Even though I am from across the world I like to believe in a good challenge and believe that being able to compete at the college level is an amazing step for myself and my future career. I have always been a kid that has wanted to succeed and I am determined to do my best. 

I am currently in my second term of year 12, studying for my HSC and making sure to keep myself at a high standard both on the track and in the classroom. I am a hard-working and dedicated student and when I want something I strive to my very best potential to achieve that. I am always up to stepping out of my comfort zone and I know that opportunities such as this, will only further push me to achieve my goals and expand my knowledge across all forms. I love meeting new people and striving to train with those who are better than me, I am never afraid to try something new and with your help, I can finally become the athlete I've always wanted to be.

Some brief accomplishments about myself and my involvement in track and field are that I have made zone, regional, state and National levels since 7yrs old and have had multiple medals in many events over the years. Competing at the highest level in Australia and medalling in these events continuously over the last 4 years and currently aiming for Under 20's World Qualifiers.

Some other interest about me are that I have danced since 3yrs old winning many titles. I play the piano, song write, sing, edit music and love musical theatre. This is why I attend a selective performing arts school as I am extremely passionate about the arts. I also love reading and play many different sports. I am extremely interested in science and have an interest in subjects like chemistry.
