My recruiting is now closed. I am entering by junior year and looking to continue my academic and track and field careers in college. In my first season participating in track as a freshman, I threw 102 feet to qualify for state in discus, with a half spin and with no experience in the weight room. After off-season training in the field and weight room, I was expecting to throw 120+ feet as a sophomore, but was injured during the season. Now, as a junior, I am excited to show coaches what I am capable of with new technique in the shot put and discus events and more experience in the weight room. I believe I would work well within collegiate programs as I have a true passion for the sport and being self-taught, I have a lot of room to grow in my technique. I am eager to learn from a professional coach and compete in a competitive environment everyday.
In addition to my track and field career, I have maintained a 4.0 gpa while taking challenging classes. I am looking to continue my education with a science major to pursue a career in the medical field.
