Running has been a passion of mine since junior high. It began as a way to stay in shape off season for other sports, basketball and soccer, but as the seasons went by I realized that running was something I loved to do and the other sports became lesser of a priority.
I feel that my eighth grade year is when I finally realized that running competitively, and for pure love of the act, was what I wanted to pursue indefinitely. Once I realized this, all other sports and extracurricular activities fell short. There is no feeling that can compare to when you run across that finish line, winded and utterly exhausted. Running is my purpose. It is my passion.
I am looking for a college that can push me to my limits. A program that will allow me to pursue my passion and love for it, along with an academic program that will provide me with the knowledge needed for when I run my last run, cross my last finish line, and move into a career that I will hopefully love as much as I love this sport.
