Kamdyn Wedel '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kamdyn Wedel and I am in the graduating class of 2024. I am a sprinter at De Soto High School in De Soto, KS. I started running track in 7th grade and, right away, it became something I loved. After almost 10 years of competitive dance, I decided to step away. Track quickly seemed to take its place. Competitive dance has taught me determination, perseverance, and mental toughness which have all been helpful throughout my track career. Over the years I’ve grown more and more passionate about the sport and am ready to take my skill and abilities to the next level.  I work hard in the classroom, as well. I currently maintain a 3.87/4.0 GPA while continuing to stay active in tennis, cheer, and track.
