I am interested in being a competitive runner in college while pursuing my degree in design or the sciences. I feel that my high school background has prepared me for a successful running career in college. The adversity that I have overcome in my personal life has changed my outlook and has matured my determination to succeed. Overall, I want to be challenged by my coaches and teammates to improve my running performance and contribute to the success of the program.
