2022 Highlights
2021 Highlights I am Najah Gibson, I was born in New Orleans Louisiana to a Jamaican Mother and an American Father. Track and Field was always watched, talked and bragged about in my house for my whole life. I started running track in 6th grade and was always motivated by my mother who ran track in college. I want to continue track in college and my goals are to lower my 800m time by this summer from 2:22 to sub 2:20, also to run a sub 59.00 in the 400m and to improve on my hurdling technique which will automatically lower my 300 hurdles time. I am a trainable student/athlete who works hard and who work very hard to run personal best times in all my races. This summer I will work harder on the more technical part of my programs including my speed and agility drills , and my goals are to PR by the end of summer 2021. I work very hard and love to motivate my teammates, I am a firm believer of what you put in is what you will get out on race day. This Summer I PR in the 800m at the AAU Club Championship (2.22.1) and I was a semifinalist at the JR Olympics in Humble Texas.
