I started running my freshman year of high school and have loved it since the beginning. I feel very lucky that the joy of running comes naturally to me so I try hard to spread it around by lifting up my teammates and competitors whenever possible.
The Maine running community has really shaped who I am because it is rich with dedicated, passionate, and supportive people who care about the sport and each other. Preserving this sense of community around running is what I'm most looking for in college athletics.
