My name is Elizabeth Freymann and I am from Severna Park, Maryland. I first started running when I was in Kindergarten during recess where I would run laps around a field and I quickly became a member of the 50 mile club at school. I haven't stopped running since. In middle school I raced in county meets and various road races, such as Girls on the Run. My current high school does not have a cross country or track team so I started training myself along with friends before I met my coach, who trains a group of athletes where I live. Sophomore year I transferred to a new school which is why I don't have times that year. Because of COVID-19 I have been able to race unaffiliated and I hope to race in some indoor and outdoor track meets. Running has been a good outlet for me on stressful days and has pushed me to always better myself.
