Abigayle Fluharty '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Abigayle Fluharty. I am currently a junior at Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, Maryland. I run cross country in the fall and track in the spring, along with off season training. I first started running cross country in middle school, and am a former gymnast. I am a distinguished honor roll student, and take the maximum amount of honors and AP classes. While maintaining straight A's and an above 4.0 GPA. 

In the Spring 2023 (freshmen year) season for track and field, I beat the freshmen record at my school in the 100m by running a 13.70. My favorite event is the 400m, and my PR is 60.02. I placed second in multiple of my varsity meets in the 200m and 400m. Last fall in cross country, I had a 5k PR of 25:16 in Boonsboro, Maryland. 

In my free time I do a lot of community service. During the summer, I run day camps and go on trips around the area in order to help those in need. I volunteer at my church consistently, and go on community service trips at my high school.
