Personal Statement
I would like to think that what makes me most valuable to a team is my personality and or mindset. From a very young age, I have been a leader on and off the track. I am determined, hardworking and self-motivated, whatever needs to be achieved will be in order to reach my goals.
Track became a passion of mine in the 7th grade. I had played other sports yet nothing compared to the thrill of a gun going off and running like there was no tomorrow. Academically and athletically I enjoy pushing my limits and working as hard as possible. Failure is just another shot at sucsess. I enjoy doing what I do because it makes me a role model for my peers and siblings.
I would like to find a school where I could push myself on and off the track with everything I have. I would enjoy putting my skills to use in as many ways possible. I am also extremely compassionate. I hope to continue my service work in college and one day have enough training and experience to partake in Doctors without Borders.
