May 2019A turning point for me in my track career would have to be competing in states as a freshman. Eager to win and with fresh eyes, I’m happy that I was fortunate enough to compete with that level of competition at such a young age while being inexperienced. From that experience, I am now more prepared and more knowledgeable of what I truly have to train towards and how I will be able to do so.
All of my determination and motivation derive from the want to become the best runner and person I can possibly be on and off the track. It’s safe to say that running is my form of therapy. It’s something that I truly enjoy doing and hope to do for as long as I can.
