Personal Statement

I am extremely passionate about throwing, my desire to get better and throw my best at every meet is indescribable. My goals and aspirations for college are to receive a degree in nursing, or sports medicine. I also wish to compete at the collegiate level in discus, hammer and weight. I am a very outgoing team player that loves to lead the team, I am very encouraging to other teammates I work with. I am usually the first one at practice and the last one to leave. I am very dedicated both on and off the field. I spend my weekends usually at the ring throwing hammer or discus. Throwing has personally changed who I am, I am now the most dedicated athlete you will see. I workout in the summer and winter with the football players at my high school, getting in shape and building muscle for throwing.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. I am currently taking Advanced Placement Biology, which is a college course. If I pass the AP test at the end, I will not have to take Biology throughout my college years, also earning college credit. I am also taking AP statistics, another college class. If I pass that AP test at the end of the school year, I do not have to take a math class my freshman year of college, also earning college credit as well.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
