Hello! My name is Amanda Iverson and I will be a 2021 graduate from La Crescent High School in La Crescent, MN. I am a sprinter and have been participating at the varsity level since seventh grade.
During my sophomore track season, I ran a personal best of 12.55 in the 100m dash section final and qualified for the MN State track meet on time. This time also broke a 21 year old La Crescent High School record. I have been to the MN State track meet two other times as a member of the 4x100 team. In 2017, my eighth grade year, our team placed 3rd with myself as the anchor leg. My 100m and 200m have improved each year and I am looking forward to seeing how much I better my times this year when we can get back on the track.
In addition to track, I participate in soccer, swimming and training programs. I also participate at my school as a junior class officer, a LINK leader as well as on the extra-curricular activities committee. During the summer I work as a life guard at our local pool.
I hope to continue my academic and athletic career after high school and I am looking forward to the adventure!
