Muonie Pickens '21 Recruiting Profile

When my team and I won the 2019 Mississippi 5a state championship, that was the highlight of career and life. The feeling of being able to lead my team to a state championship was the feeling like no other. Knowing that I have people looking up to me pushes me even harder. I'm looked at as a role model and leader and I'll do anything I can to not only win myself but also lead my team to victory. Track and field has always been that one thing in my life that I've never lost love for. And I feel that my dedication to the sport will take me a long way.
