Mariam Bhatti '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Mariam Bhatti, and I am a junior at Germantown High School in Madison, MS. Currently,  I am on Girls' Powerlifting team, and in the spring, I will be joining the Track and Field team as a discus and shot-put thrower. Additionally, I used to be a softball player, but found my true passion in powerlifting. I plan on continuing my throwing career into college, but for right now, my goals that I will be working towards  are to be qualified for states.

Academically, I take multiple AP courses alongside some honors classes, such as my Spanish IV class. I take pride in my work ethic, cooperation skills, and kindness. These three core traits are also beneficial when working with my teammates or even competing. Outside of sports, I indulge in the arts and crafts and find comfort in reading. With any further free time I have, I savor practicing and playing the electric guitar.
