Personal Statement

Newcomer making waves!

If you would have asked me when I began running on the high school track team in spring of 2022, I would have said that I couldn’t have imagined how well the many years of conditioning, strength training, and competing in gymnastics were preparing me for competitive track and field. And though I’ve only been running for a little over a year now, I cannot imagine my life without it. I have to pinch myself sometimes when I think about how track and field could possibly help me attend a university that would likely have been out of reach for me and my twin sister, without it. I am looking for a coach and team environment that believes in fierce competition, and is also fully supportive of team members and other humans at all times. I want to hype and be hyped. I think we all flourish in that kind of positive atmosphere! I look forward to talking with you, learning more about your program, and hearing how I can be of service to your team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
