Personal Statement
Growing up I moved around a lot; I have attended eight different schools and lived in three different states. Although this was hard, it helped me grow to be comfortable in different environments and taught me many things. I had tried many sports early on but moving so often made it hard for me to find the sport that I could fit in with best. I first did track in seventh grade and up until eleventh grade I loved the sport but couldn't see myself pursuing it in college until I went to Bigfork High School my junior year and found a supporting team that pushed me to work as hard as I could. Although track is primarily an individual sport, my teammates are what made track so enjoyable for me. My team and my coach showed me how much I truly love the sport and want to continue running after high school. Since I was in elementary school my biggest focus has been achieving good grades and making school my number one priority. I have always tried to take advanced classes even if I know it will be hard for me in order to push myself to success. I have learned that in order to succeed it takes hard work but at the end of it the hard work pays off. I hope to pursue running in college and to continue my education in college.
