 Throwing javelin has helped me become a more disciplined and confident person.  In addition, it has shown me the importance of paying attention to details, even the very smallest ones.  I hope throwing javelin can help me continue in this vein as I enter college.  
One of my life goals is to become a pediatric surgeon and the skills discussed above will be crucial in achieving it.

I think that what makes me different is my loyalty to family and the pursuit of unity.  I know how to listen and follow instructions but I also know the importance of speaking up for what is right.  Also, I love to win and be competitive, but ultimately improving myself and others takes precedence.
