Selena Munroe '19 Recruiting Profile

As a Student Athlete, I know how to manage my work ethic and also continue to stay focus with my athletics. As a team captain, I have learned that you still have to go out there and perform your hardest know matter what your  title on the team is. There may not be a win every single track meet, but the fact that I know I put my blood, sweat and tears into everything that I did in my races is all that matters. I am truly dedicated to the sport of track and field. Being surrounded by my teammates and supporting them in all of their events is something I love to do. Knowing that the extra push or that extra motivation to finish the race makes a difference.  Track and Field is a sport that will always have my attention and a sport that will always mean something to me. I hope to one day continue my education at a graduate college and continue to be involve in the track and field community, and also become an Olympian or to go back and coach other athletes who want to run track. I want them to know what it feels like to give back to those who helped get me to where I am now.
