One of my collegiate goals is to identify a subject matter that piques my interest which will lead to success in post-college life. Another goal is to strike a balance between college life, academic life, and athletic life. As a 3-season varsity athlete in a highly competitive school district, I am capable of rising to these challenges.
I’m different because of my commitment to my coach's advice and guidance, my humble upbringing and my ability to deal with failure and setbacks. When I was in 8th grade, I broke my leg—I could have quit my athletic career – but instead, with my determination and grit I worked hard, made no excuses, and created both short and long term goals. I not only reached those goals but went beyond them—I don’t quit!
