Samantha Burns '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Burns and I am a junior at St.Francis Prep in Queens, NY. Academically, I have always been very hard working and grades have always been extremely important to me.  I find it important to push myself to the limits. 

I have played a variety of sports over the years. Basketbal, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, and of course track and field. When I got to high school i realized that I wanted to focus solely on basketball and track so that i could be fully committed with no interferenc. After my freshman year I fell even more in love with track and made the decision to quit basketball and focus on only track. I’m extremely dedicated and hard working. I am always working towards a new goal. I will always push myself to new limits and do everything possible to succeed. It is my dream to compete at a college level and it is my hope that through hard work an dedication, I will soon reach that dream.
