For as long as I can remember, I have loved running. I started track in seventh grade and I've been doing indoor and outdoor track since. My goals for my last High School track seasons are to practice hard and see my results at track meets. I do this by comparing times each track meet. I enjoy being on a team, I have helped my teammates by being on rallies for the 100 and 400.
As an athlete, I push myself and teammates to do better. I have been team captain for JV and Varsity Soccer. For track, I help my coach with my teammates by giving advice or explain how to do something. Teammates go to me for advice on lifting because I have been doing it for two years now. I want to help them have proper form while lifting but also help them build muscle and endurance for running.
As a student, I push myself just as hard to be successful academically. I have been in Honor Roll and National Honor Society as a result from my grades. For classes, I have taken AP English and AP History and I am currently in college courses for NCCC Algebra and NCCC English.
