My goals include throwing in a competitive program at the University level, using that experience to open academic opportunities and eventually being a coach.
I have been fortunate to have parents and coaches who let me try new things and find my path. That lead me to playing three varsity sports a year, taking dual enrollment college classes and being involved in my school and community. My parents and coaches have shown me how good choices are important, how working hard is essential and the way you treat people is more important than most other things. I try to think about these things in the classroom, the pool, the tennis court and the throws ring.
I'd like to study Biology at a university that has great community and opportunity. My goal is to be able to throw in a program that will let me contribute and will also be supportive. I enjoy the physics of throwing and I throw best when I am challenged. I value coaches that teach their athletes, and I have had several coaches who have helped me how to learn how to be a communicator in competition and in life.
My athletic strengths include being calm under pressure, able to visualize the field/pool/court and I have good body awareness.
