My name is Julia Rapp.
Going to Regionals as part of my high school varsity team in 2019 as a freshman in the 100m, 200m and 4x100 relay pushed me to train hard to make state. The following year 2020 was stripped from all of us due to the COVID-19. This year 2021 the highlight of my career thus far as a junior I made it to State and placed 10th in the 100m and 200m along with being a key runner on our 9th place 4x100 relay team. I am a 3 sport varsity athlete excelling on the softball field, volleyball court and track where I’ve received numerous awards and accolades. I work extremely hard in the classroom carrying a 3.8 gpa through my junior year.
My dream is to one day run track at the collegiate level while earning my degree. The drive and dedication has allowed me to excel as a great teammate and three-sport scholar-athlete. I have found my uniquely powerful sense of quiet leadership is a great addition to all of my teams. My teammates often look to me for answers, and I often take more responsibility and less credit than I perhaps am due. I always strive to do the best I can in school and all my other endeavors. I’m very coachable and believe with college level coaching I will achieve great things on the track. I come from a great family, who always support me. I would be honored to further my education and track career in college as well. I am looking for a school and team that will allow me to continue to encourage and be encouraged in academics as well as athletics.
Respectfully,
Julia Rapp
