Personal Statement

2nd Year Pole Vaulter - State Champion!

After 10 years of year-round competitive club gymnastics I decided that I wanted to give pole vault a try. It really interested me but my school did not have a pole vault program. So I started one. I began training in the winter of my sophomore year. By the end of the track season I could clear 10’ 7”. I look forward to training, learning, and improving in the upcoming Summer and senior year. I love this sport more and more with each practice, and I plan to continue at the next level, in college.
