Kierstyn Wood '16 Recruiting Profile

Hey all! My name is Kierstyn Wood and I'm the fifth child out of six in my family. I go to a small rural school in northern Ohio. My goals for the collegiate level would simply be competing at the collegiate level. I work hard each and every day to improve myself so the future season would show my improvements throughout the years. I think I am different from others by dedication. I love this sport, and I'm willing to go the extra mile in order to succeed as a thrower. I think I have a character that will separate me from other recruits. I am always willing to try something new in regards to form, technique, weight lifting, etc. My academics should sort myself to the top of the list. Currently, I am ranked 18th in my class out of 100+. I take college courses and multiple accelerated courses throughout the year.
