I have been an avid track and field competitor for almost six years and aspire to continue my training and competition throughout college as well. It has always been a goal of mine to run at the collegiate level, and pursuing that will take effort, motivation and a good attitude. I am my harshest critic and my biggest fan. I have accomplished an almost pristine gpa while managing to compete for over 3 years, something that takes motivation and dedication. I am a hardworking team player that loves to have fun and finds extreme joy while competing on the track.
After high school I am looking to pursue a career in psychology. My school is fortunate enough to have a community college that is open to dual enrollment and helping students get head start on their college credits. I have taken the few AP courses offered at my high school as well as earned as many college credits as possible, leading to an increased work load as well as a full schedule. I believe in trying my hardest and giving everything I have while I am either on the track or in the classroom.
My schooling and my competitive career are two of the most important things in my life and I would be no where near as motivated if it wasn't for the strong support system I have at home as well as at school. The relationship between my coach and I is a bond that has been formed over 6 years and is one of the most influential relationships in my life today. I would not be the runner I am today if it wasn't for his positive attitude and his never failing belief in my ability.
