Anya Mahorowala '26 Recruiting Profile

I am Anya Mahorowala (Class of 2026), a pole vaulter from Jesuit High School, Portland, OR. My PR is 11’7". I began my pole vault journey as a freshman, and have greatly enjoyed being a varsity team member of my high school’s track and field program.

I train year-round, focusing on improving my technique, speed, and strength as I chase my goal of 13' by senior year. My persistence has helped me consistently improve over the last three years. I also have many specific advancement targets that I look forward to challenging myself with, as a collegiate athlete.

While I love the sport, I thrive on the adrenaline rush at meets and the close bonds cultivated with my teammates. I would be privileged to further pursue my athletic training at an institution that values both athletic and academic excellence.

I am also a highly motivated and curious student with a keen interest in Math. I intend to major in Math and am very excited to grow as a student, an athlete, and a teammate.
