Julia Leady '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Julia Leady and I am in 9th grade. I aspire to go to a college that meets my academic and athletic ambitions. I know that with my extremely hard work ethic and determination, I will achieve my goals. My experience with cross country and track has taught me that success can't be achieved without hard work. In addition, I've learned how to be a leader. One of the things I love about cross country and track is having a supportive team that helps you get through the tough races and workouts. 

I am a Berks County Junior High Champion in the 3200M and Cross Country 2-mile race. In addition, I made the Berks County All-Division 1 team for the 2023 cross country season. I am also a distinguished honor roll student. I would like to maintain distinguished honors throughout my high school career. My short-term goal for cross country and track is to become competitive at the state level for high school. My collegiate goals include, finding a college that supports my running career, but also guides me towards academic success. I have many collegiate running goals, but one of them is to bring my mile time down to 4:40. My dedication, hard work, and ability to connect with others makes me a great asset for your team.
