Madeline Newark '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madeline Newark and I attend Burgettstown Middle/High School in Pennsylvania. I have been participating in athletics since I was 4 years old and am currently a four-sport athlete. I have been high jumping since 8th grade with a current PR of 5', which I jumped junior year. During my freshman year, I attended the PIAA State Finals and tied for 19th place in the high jump. My sophomore season was cut short, but during my junior year I returned to states and tied for 11th. I am an ambitious student in the classroom as well, maintaining straight A's throughout my entire academic career thus far. I am a hard worker and a team player, and I feel that I would make a successful collegiate athlete. Outside of my sports and school, I officiate youth soccer games and love spending time outdoors.
