Harmony Evans '24 Recruiting Profile

I am eager to embark on my college journey because I am more than motivated by my upbringing and my childhood experiences. I come from a low economic community where opportunities are extremely limited and foreign to people like me. My family is my motivation and drive. I am the oldest of 4 other siblings. My mother had me as a teenager and she has sacrificed everything for me even since a young age. I just have to make her proud as well as my grandparents. My family has really endured more than what most people will ever have to go through. That is my Motivation as well as my inspiration. I wish to achieve my bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude. And becoming an academic all American as well as a distinguished and decorative athlete. I am set apart from other students because of my background, where I come from, and my perseverance. No matter everything I faced I never allow it to hold me down. I keep my head up high and my mind positive with a smile on my face because I know what it’s like to not have any opportunities available versus maybe some other student athletes that are exposed to a plethora of possibilities and avenues to take, I wouldn’t dare abuse this moment and take any beneficial opportunity for granted.
