Ultimately, I would like to attend Medical School. Staying on top of my grades has always been a high priority, and I intend on working hard to graduate as valedictorian in a few years. My sports have also been a high priority. When I first started running cross country, I went in with no expectations. Our team entered into the season with three seventh graders on the varsity team and a new head coach, but were able to achieve great things (state championship 3 years in a row) with our hard work and commitment. Over the past couple of years, I have come to love track and field even more than cross country. I love hurdles. I love that I can do something that feels a little more special than running around the track. My coaches told me to give javelin a try this past season, and I now love javelin just as much as I love hurdles. I know I have a lot of room for improvement, and I intend to spend the rest of my high school career focusing on getting better. I aspire to become the best version of myself in both academics and athletics.
