My goal is to continue with my love and passion for Track and Field at a university/college level. I am so blessed to have come upon this sport in my sophomore year of high school. I've learned an outstanding amount of skill and technique from my excellent coaches and I'm beyond grateful for them. The people within this community of Track and Field are who make it so wonderful. Winning is one thing, but having those to support and mentor you is so much more. What makes me stand out as a good candidate for any team is that I am willing to learn and take constructive criticism to use it and further my abilities on the track for me and the team. Being an exceptional team member is a great priority to me and I am one who is willing to go the mile for myself and for the whole team. A healthy mind and body have always been a priority for me and it's something to work on every day, especially since mindset is such an important role for athletes. I aspire to become a Pediatric Speech Pathologist and major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The reason I stand out from other recruits is that I've maintained a strong GPA throughout my high school career and I'm currently in the top 8% of my class. I've learned to balance life well, as I play two varsity sports, maintain a job, and participate in 9 clubs.
